3D Filter Holders

For many applications, especially with newer video projectors radiant heat will destroy the polarized filters over time and can also melt most polarized filters.  This device allows for a distance to be maintained between the filter and the projector.  Place the polarized filters away from the projectors is such a way as to fill as much of the polarizer as is possible with the projected image.  Be aware that new projectors or projector bulbs will generate more heat in the first hours of use.

Metal 3D Filter Stand

This filter stand can accommodate from 4" to 8" square polarizing filters (glass or plastic).  It has a tilt corrector and is continuously adjustable.  This high precision filter stand is made of high grade steel and finished with wrinkle paint.  Filters move along the pole and the filter supports can be reversed to hold the filters from the top or bottom.  Filters larger than 8" require two stands.

Dimensions are 6 inches for the filter arm and the unit is 18.5 inches tall. 

Filter Holder Extension

If you are using large projectors you may need our 12 inch extender which screws into the top of the filter holder.  This makes the whole filter stand taller.

Some people prefer to have extra set of filter arms for the tops of the filters to accommodate larger filters.

Linear Polarizing Filters for Projectors

Glass Linear Polarizing Filters for Projectors

Our linearly polarized glass filters are high quality custom made glass 45 degree, -45 degree paired polarizing filters.  They are 5mm thick and have a special anti-reflective coating.   They are specially matched for use in stereo projection.  They are a great choice for the larger Barco projectors and other high-output units.  They are 5mm thick and have a special anti-reflective coating.  ^{Mounting Instructions}

^{Plastic Linear Polarizing Filters for Projectors}

These are two (2) plastic backed polarizing filters 3" x 3", for attaching to any 2 projector system for projecting stereo images.  For projectors with larger, long throw or zoom lenses we offer 4" x 4" polarizers, 5" x 5" and 6" x 6". Both these will work with all our linear 3d polarized glasses.  These are 45, -45 degree polarizers. These are heavy duty heavy gauge plastic and will not bend.   Attachment will depend on your projectors (no mounting gear is included).  Be careful not to mount these polarizers too close to your lenses as excessive heat will damage or crack the polarizers.  Projectors vary in heat generation so please monitor when using.  Please cover the entire surface of the filter with the projected light to eliminate hot spots.  Try our filter holder and heat absorbing filters to extend the lifetime of your polarized filters!  Polarizing filters are not returnable.

Heat absorbing glass pairs to be used in conjunction with polarizers

These protect your filters from UV and IR heat and greatly increase the lifetime of your polarized filters and protect them from melting.  They are specially matched for use in stereo projection.  

3D Circular Polarizers for Projectors

These are two (2) plastic backed polarizing filters 5" x 5", 0.08" thick for attaching to any 2 projector system for projecting stereo images.   Both these will work with all our Circular 3d polarized glasses.   Attachment will depend on your projectors (no mounting gear is included).  Be careful not to mount these polarizers too close to your lenses as excessive heat will damage or crack the polarizers.  Projectors vary in heat generation so please monitor when using.  Please cover the entire surface of the filter with the projected light to eliminate hot spots.  Try our filter holder and heat absorbing filters to extend the lifetime of your polarized filters!  Polarizing filters are not returnable. ^{Mounting Instructions}
